If there’s a thing I like is planning my readings. Do I always stick to them? Hell no, but I surely do love the challenge (a challenge that I set myself and that I’m probably bound to fail, but who cares really? Not me, that’s who).
There are a lot of books I plan to read this Spring. A ton of exciting new releases are coming out in the upcoming months but I promise to tell you all about them in my new releases post at the beginning of May. And if you’re interested about the remaining releases coming in April check the previous post here.
Anyway, let’s go back to the main topic of this post: my TBR.
These are the top 5 books I want to get to in these next few months.
Mad Miss Mimic by Sarah Henstra
I read The Red Word by this author in March and I really appreciated the story and also the writing style. I’m curious to read more by her in this new work, especially because it’s a totally different genre from the other novel I read.
Everything grows by Aimee Herman
I got an ARC of this novel and I’m really looking forward to reading it. I’m always on the lookout for good LGBTQ+ YA books and I truly believe this might be one of them. I’ll let you know when I read it.
A great and terrible beauty by Libba Bray
This book has been on my TBR for literally years and it’s time for me to read it. It’s an historical fiction with fantasy elements and it’s also set in a boarding school so I’m pretty sure I’m bound to love it.
Girl made of stars by Ashley Herring Blake
I was supposed to read this last year but lo and behold I did not get to it, oopsie. I’m so interested in this title and I can’t wait to read this story. I really feel like it’s going to be a five-star read, but we’ll see.
The poet X by Elizabeth Acevedo
It’s a novel written in verse about a teenager girl who discovers slam poetry. Do I need to say more? I’m already so invested in this story.
That’s it for today, I hope you like this post.
What are you planning to read this next Spring?
